What Flynrider said about bogus cashiers checks is true. My bike is for sale in the classified thread. I received an offer by text for the full amount I am asking from a person in Alabama. I live in Michigan. That immediately made me suspicious. He offered to hold off picking up the bike until the money was in my account. I spoke with my banker and she said that this is a common scam. Because I am a trusted long time customer they will put the money in my account but that it actually takes 15 days for the check to clear. Bike would be gone, check would bounce, money taken back out of my account. Told the guy he would have to wait until the check actually cleared before he could pick up the bike. Never heard back from him.
