Wash me

Not perfect but good enough for now. It will never look like Ride4Now's or Tinks' but she's got heart and doesn't care if it's raining or snowing as long as she gets some exercise on a regular basis

Too good looking to be called "he"

I was just teasing, honest. Although, I do refer to my bikes like I refer to any other tool--as "it". The CB1100 is an "it", but a beautiful it to be sure.

Guitars, motorcycles, cars, boats, and most wives are "she"s.

I guess that's the end of the multi-state souvenirs from the summer's riding. Kansas silt, Nebraska grime, Colorado dust, and all the stuff she collected on her trip out and back.

To you, perhaps, and not there's anything wrong with that.

Looking good Mickey, while I'm sure she enjoys the exercise, I'm guessing that she doesn't mind a little pampering every once in a while as well!

It's funny, but I've always called my NT650 "the Hawk" and my CB1100 "the CB". I suppose that these aren't exactly all that great as far as inspired names go. They're gender neutral and not all the exceptional I'll admit, but this system works for me. It's a different story when it comes to autos. While I've been know to occasionally name a car or truck over the years, my wife always likes to name her vehicles. When we acquired the S2000 last year, we purchased it from a very classy older lady who was forced to sell the car due to pain she was experiencing in her neck and back, which was made worse when driving the car. We came up with the name for our S2000 within a day of buying it. We named her Linda, in honor of the lady who sold the car to us. We sent a note to Linda (the person) to let her know of our decision. She responded letting us know that this made her happy that she was glad that we were the ones that bought her S2K. My wife and I will probably always share a smile whenever we say to one another: c'mon, let's get Linda and go for a drive.

In retrospect, I suppose that my bikes might deserve better. But then again I'm guessing that the CB would be alright with this were I to take the time to explain to it that it's not just "the CB", but rather "THE CB" — as in the only CB for me.

I don't have a name for the CB, but I can tell you it's a she lol. I do have a name for the ST..it's STarship because of the white overspray specs that look like a galaxy I got on a trip thru Michigan's UP, plus the reflective X wing fighter I put in that galaxy and the bikes ability to transport me across country at hyper speed. lol
