I'm doing some spring cleaning and ran across a pile of about 90 magazines (Rider, CW, Cycle, Motorcyclist) from the early to mid 80s. I've had fun going through them and reading articles about the classic and not so classic bikes of the day.
Any local members interested in these? I suspect shipping them would be somewhat costly (90 mags are pretty heavy).
Just wanted to check here before sending them to the recycler.
If you're within a few hundred miles of Phoenix, I'd be happy to airlift them to you (good excuse to go flying).
PM me if interested.

Would you just drop them out of your plane ?
I have taken many boxes of motor cycle magazines to Barber , I think they have someone buying them if they do not need them.

I donate mine to the local DR. Funny still there are never any Men's Magazines in the waiting room though. Good House keeping, People, redbook

I have a 1983 Honda VF750F Interceptor and would be interested in any magazines relating to the introduction and/or test of this model. I know this might be a pain for you, but would love to get any of those magazines!

I wasn't aware that CL had a free section. Good idea. Turns out I also need to get rid of some other stuff too. Thanks.
Teamwalker : I'll take a look through them and see if I've got what you want.

I shipped a batch of mags a while back. When the clerk asked about contents, I told her mags she said mags not books ? I said yeah. Well she said she couldnt do the book rate due to advertising in mags. The shipping cost was impressive.
Like the ferret, I cross my name off and drop them at Dr offices etc, but the last time I was at the Dr they had ALL mags removed do to the flu epidemic and germs they said. Still have dentist, etc.
You might put a small book in there and use mags for packing material, or would that be shady?

Sorry, 736. I was able to get rid of them locally. One of my neighbors has a big garage full of bikes and he and his riding buddies seem to spend more time hanging out there than riding their bikes. I stopped by last night and offered them the mags for their library and they were happy to get them.
