Used 2013 for $5,500 vs new 2014 for $7,000

I just got my new 2014 and I’m not concerned one bit about the bike sitting in a crate for the last four years. I am very disappointed in the dealer prep but that’s a different story.

My new 14 had flat spotted tires from the crate that took 300 miles to work themselves out , how are yours ?
and yes i would have gone for the new one also as you can brake it in knowing it was done right .

The only issue with my 2014 standard coming out of the crate 7 Nov 2017 was a battery that was replaced with a new one. Crate tires still on the bike at 10,300 miles.

Part pride, part wanting to show people who are considering a left over what they can do with the money saved.

One of the guys at the local dyno shop has a new RS but couldn't stop asking me questions about my bike.

While still a work in progress, here is something to chew on maybe- even if you guys don't like my style, the power is getting better.

Would probably be at 100whp if I messed with something besides just fuel so far. But cams will definitely get me there.

Part of me wants to see what I can get out of it- and then I'll bring it to Guhl and see what he thinks.

That's very impressive, especially considering the temperatures where you live. My BT-54's will only go about 4000 miles before they lose their profile. Life is too short to ride on worn tires!
