I was looking at that one the other day. The OTD including nearly 10% sales tax is about $12K. The same dealer has about a half dozen '14s that are going for just over $7K OTD. To make things even tougher, another local dealer has cut about $1,200 of the price of a new Z900RS recently. I wish I could just just buy one of each and be done with it Big Grin

Why not, Flyn? Sell 2, buy 3 and spend the rest of your life figuring which one to ride.

I saw a Z900RS up close and personal a couple of weeks ago. While, to me, it’s not nearly as appealing as the CB1100, it’s still a good looking beast and sounds lovely.

I don’t envy your decision making, really.

That deal from Arizona is a bit better than my deal. The dealer in my area says he will match any price. I wonder if he will match a price from another state.

I bought my EX in Jax for $11250 OTD. The most I've ever spent on 2 wheels ever. Like I said, I'm "all in".

Motorbikes are for me foremost an emotional thing to warm my soul. I always bought and will buy motorbikes I feel attracted to and follow my heart after doing some research of how they will behave after I decide to ride them.

If I could not afford riding a motorbike I would not even have a single one. In the sense of heartwarming they are all worth the money and I'll keep and take care of them, not worrying about the money they are going to bring to the table, if I would sell them, as much as it would be.

Right on brotha.

Facing this same conundrum myself (used 2013 vs new 2014). Either option is a good value I believe.

Very wise statement. If I followed my brain I would be driving a Prius.
