Arrow exhaust
#1
Has any one tried the arrow end can on a 2018 cb1100. I don't want to fit a full system as I like the chrome down pipes. I've tested the sound level with no silencers fitted and it is quite loud unlike other bikes I've had with a cat fitted. I don't want to spend £650 if the sound level is no better

You may not get a response re 2018.
Based only upon what I have read, you should expect a better flowing, throaty sound, with only a small decibel increase.

Haven’t seen a 2018 model with one, but here’s a vid on a 2014 which should give you an idea

I have the Arrow and have also had a stock and Yoshi system. I really like the Arrow, more so than the Yoshi. It has a deeper tone, it’s better sounding than the Yoshi and isn’t too loud. I’d highly recommend it.

I have the Arrow exhaust / stock headers on my 2014. It's definitely louder then stock, but not unpleasantly so (to me). More throaty sound is correct, I like it.

I owned the full Yoshi system and my friend had the Arrow slip-on and I can honestly say the Arrow sounds much better to me. As already noted, it’s deeper and I’d even say a little bit louder with the baffle out than the full headers and back Yoshi which has an integrated and non removable baffle. Had I heard them in person prior to making the purchase I’d have saved myself a good chunk of money and gotten the Arrow slip-on.
