Here’s why a car dealer shouldn’t try to sell used motorcycles. 2014 with 4K miles. $6,999. Someone didn’t do their homework or they are hoping to find some poor individual with no knowledge on resale values for used standard model CBs. Not quite as bad as the DLX for $15k.

Probably just like the other vehicles on their lot...overpriced I’m sure. Most of them operate under the mantra “there’s a sucker born every minute”
I would guess there are a lot of motorcycle dealers who would have the same sticker price on the bike...or even higher.

Agree you can buy a new CB for less, but if someone can't afford the cost of a used bike, they can go to a car lot and probably qualify for financing. For many folks, the monthly payment matters more than the cost of the vehicle. Plus, the dealer can offer a short warranty to entice the buyer, whereas a private seller likely can't (or won't).
