Still don't have my CB1100 back from Mom's so I can't submit this for the photo challenge, but it's my favorite mural in Orange County. Snapped it today while we were testing a new job tracking app.
This is a column on a parking structure located at the former Tustin Marine Corps Air Station. It's mostly redeveloped into high-density housing and offices, and the parking structure was graced with murals painted by Shag, one of my favorite contemporary artists. It artistically depicts the station's role as a coastal defense blimp base during WW2, and shows the face of one of the massive, historic hangars. One of the hangars tragically burned a few years ago. The surviving one is currently for sale.
