Also, one of the reasons I love the DGR is watching people's ride videos from around the world. I love seeing other places, especially as I haven't really travelled much outside the U.S. (really, really want to!), and it's an awesome view into other places.
I'll either be in the Dublin ride or the Kildare ride this year GIN60. There are only 2 or 3 EX's in Ireland as far as I know, one of course is spechg on this forum, these were never officially imported, only the RS model and that didn't fair well. It does get a good deal of attention at the DGR as it happens. But when the guy with the pristine CBX1000 (the GT one with fairing and panniers) and another guy with a cute dog in a sidecar turns up and the EX is forgotten :-) Such is life, fingers crossed for good weather, apart from a few days it has been a pretty wet start all this year so far. If it is absolutely chucking it down on the day Daytona will be brought into service. No time to be cleaning acres of chrome!
