EX or RS 1100
#1
I am in a win, win situation in that whatever the outcome i will have a CB1100, my dilemma is that i currently own 2020 RS, its the blacked out model and there is nothing at all wrong with it however, a blue EX has caught my eye that i personally think looks better so, has anyone swapped an EX for a RS or the other way, if so is there anything that you would care to share in order to help me decide? My mind is set on the blue EX as it was what got me into CBs but unfortunately for me they are pretty rare in the UK so i need to act fast if i decide to swap.

unfortunately we never got the RS here in the states..or anything after 2017, so we have no comparison.

Which speaks to you more?

The RS is more sporty I believe, the EX more traditional

The RS should perfect rm better or equal in every measurable way, hands down. If you have a chance to get one, totally get one.

He already has an RS, he's thinking about getting rid of it and getting an EX

BLUE trumps blasphemy.

'cause it's faster, has fewer issues, gets better miles per gallon and miles per kilometer, brakes better, suspension is way better, riding position is improved, horn is louder, you'll get more favorable comments, people will see you, no high idle, headlight is brigher, cleaning is easier, you won't get covid, valve checks are farther apart, chain lasts longer, more tire availability, comes with complete tool kit, mirrors let you see behind you better... only if you get the... blue

Looks wise my preference is for the EX, I have one but.....Do you like calling a breakdown service when you get a puncture (EX) or fixing it yourself by the side of the road with a plug in 10 minutes (RS)? The RS is much more practical if you like to ride in inclement weather, the UK winter roads are not kind to the EX's chrome.
