RE: Why Dunlop no longer makes tires for the CB1100
Henrik, welcome to the forum.
There's a difference in riding a naked bike and riding a bike naked.
Won't make that mistake again.

I am on my second set of Metzler Z8 and am very happy with them. Much better than the original mount, and I have found that they last reasonably long. I had to change my first set a bit early (they could have been used for a lot longer) as I got a flat.
For info, I have them with inner tubes as my CB is the European 2014 EX version with wire wheels.

Radials in stock sizes: the Metzler Z8s are ok - good grip and all, but the front tend to wear out on the sides faster than the middle - I went through a few sets of those. Bridgestone T32 is the tire I am running now - 2nd set, great grip and decent wearing. I'd recommend the T32s if you're looking for stock sizes.

RE: Why Dunlop no longer makes tires for the CB1100
I've had them all, Michelin PR3, Dunlop Roadsmart3, Metzeler Z8 and Angel GT
I've had a few sets of Metzeler Z8, very good and soft tyres, no complaints. Excellent handling in the wet and on corners.
The rear didn't last more than 26,000 km if memory serves.
I still have the rear on my DLX.
Before I sold my white CB std I had a T3, I think it will last much longer due to the harder rubber. Only rode for 800 km then sold the bike.
When my DLX tyres need replacing, presently Angel GT/front and Z8/rear I'll get T32.
Total on all three CBs = 175,000 km.

26,000 kms for a bike tyre is excellent.

RE: Why Dunlop no longer makes tires for the CB1100
I think I had about 35,000 kms on the PR3, frt/120 & rear/160 and the rear would have lasted another 5,000 kms when I replaced the front and rear set
The Michelin PR3 were the best tires I have ever had on all my CBs.

RE: Why Dunlop no longer makes tires for the CB1100
They were certainly the best wearing tyres I had. I think the Angel GTs might handle better.
