I wore one helmet on this afternoons ride and a different helmet on this evenings ride. Different climatic conditions.

I tend to stick with just one helmet. However I do manage to fit multiple personalities inside of it.

I have always been an "Arai guy"

I will buy other helmets as spares but am still "Somewhat" happy to pay the price for Arai.

My helmet is approaching the 5 year mark and I felt discomfort around the ears last week so I am looking at replacing it. While at the dealer today I tried on an Arai, it was very light, it felt right, and boy was it pretty. But $749? Ugh! Hard to swallow. I decided to look at the HJC modular which is more in my range. Besides, Ferret was sporting one at the rally and he was getting all the attention. Nominations to picture of the month, showing up on Facebook feeds while wearing his. But I don't look nearly as handsome with the HJC as ferret does. I find it extremely big and heavy. Got to keep looking.

I recently purchased the BiltWell candy red with white racing stripe 3/4.
It's excellent and matches the bike pretty well.
I have a black visor rather than a shield. I keep 2 sets of shades in my small tank bag, tint for day, clear for night. I wear it around town and very short local rides. Good for the Florida heat, doesn't create the greenhouse effect like my full face.
I like it so much I just ordered the metalflake red version.
I have a bunch of helmets, to me they're like shoes or belts. Accessories used to enhance ones panache. I'm not a one pair of shoes, one belt, or even a one bike kind of guy......

Oh yea, I forgot jackets. Let's see, 5 of them, just spread 4 more around to my buds and new riders in need of gear, and sold my full leathers to a nice young man starting to do track days. Now, about gloves.... and boots......and rain gear........

I have the same helmet and I LOVE it. Eerily quiet, to the point of not even needing earplugs and excellent built-in sun visor.
