HJC CS3 Helmet, anyone have one?
#1
I have a Scorpion helmet going on six years, so looking to rotate it out of the fleet. Being a child of the '70s, I'm really digging the HJC CS3 Star Wars Stormtrooper helmet.

I haven't worn an HJC lid in many many years. Anyone here have a CS3? If so, is it reasonably good?

I dont have one of those, but I do have 9 HJC helmets. If they fit your noggin they can' t be beat for value imo.

You can’t see a thing in that Helmet. And Storm Trooper armor doesn’t seem to protect against anything Smile

Thanks, Popgun. And aren't you a little short to be a Storm Trooper?

Ferret, as far as head shape, what do you consider yourself? I'm probably "intermediate oval", so also looking to see if HJC is good for that head shape (from someone who wears the brand, not their idea of head shape).

I would say I'm an intermediate oval

Most HJC helmets are intermediate oval. I had a HJC FG-ST Chrono and it was ok. I’ve tried so many brands and for comfort I haven’t found anything that beats my Shoei GT Air. Got my intercom fitted to it.

Tried on that model HJC today at the local dealer, and it was a bit tight on the forehead. And, I should probably budget to replace my 7.5 year old tires in the near future anyway.
