Ferret... I don't know how you do it... taking pictures with one hand with the other one on the bars at speed. I tried it... AND I'M NOT GOING TO DO IT AGAIN. Be careful.

Ditto on Sheridan Rd. One of those "hidden gems" in the midst of this great big city!

Lots and lots of practice lol...

Don't do anything you are uncomfortable doing on motorcycle, especially while moving, but taking a picture while riding, is no more difficult than raising the shield on your full face helmet, or opening or closing a helmet vent, or unzipping your jacket a bit, or any number of things you do with your left hand while your right hand is busy working the throttle. Middle finger turns the camera on and off, index finger presses the shutter button. Don't have to look at the camera or what you are shooting just face it toward the subject matter and push the button, then let it fall on its lanyard to rest on your stomach.

I always ride carefully. Thanks

I don't know how he does it either. But he obviously knows how, and I do believe that The ferret is very careful. I suspect with my point and shoot that gloves might be a problem. Practice while stationary is the way to go I guess. Will give it a go.

Cheers
The ferret's road is indeed a pretty piece of country. What's with the tar snakes?

We have a lot of tar snakes here too and you have to be careful in the corners in hot weather.
When I came back to bikes 22 years ago I had the beejeebers scared out of me while I was out for a day ride. I was on a new bike and still getting experience after being away from bikes for 34 years.
The bike went into squirm mode and I nearly soiled my shorts.
I quickly learned a lesson from that incident!!
