The stupidity that makes it hard on the rest of us
#1
This type of thing is SOOOO uncalled for and just makes things that much worse for the rest of us that ride. ALL of these idiots need to be found, arrested, and have their bikes impounded....period.

Idiots. what else can you say? 99 percent of us are not like that. They give us all a bad name but I know better. Motorcycle riders are some of the best people on the planet when you are in need. Things like on that video just po's me off.

With 100 other riders there to attack him? That is what gave these idiots the "courage" to act like that with him.....mob mentality. I have to wonder how many of those bikes were stolen as most, if not all of them, run without plates and many are just beat up from being dropped stunting.
It's just makes my blood boil because there is a contingent of riders that think doing stuff like this is their RIGHT and nobody has any say in how, when or where they ride and all it does is make people think that all riders are like this when the facts couldn't be farther from this. Yet we, the respectful riders, are the ones that WILL pay the price for the actions of hoodlums like this. Make no mistake about it, there are people in the CA state legislature that are SALIVATING over this to make things all that much tougher for motorcyclists in this state.

True, especially as recreational motorcyclists (not the mob in the video) are easier to deal with than drug dealers, armed hold up merchants and both organised and disorganised criminals Smile. The Queensland "legislature" has passed the VLAD laws to deal with OMCs. Its a shame that some consider it a useful tool to keep all motorcyclists in check.

Yes, crazy. Based loosely upon US RICO law but aimed specifically at Motorcycle gangs. Unfortunately, as an unintended (?) consequence, it enables harassment of law abiding motorcyclists. The VLAD law perfectly fits the title of your most worthy post.

Cheers
As a caveat to the above, I have to as I am not an expert on RICO law, but I think you will get my drift.

Motorcycling survived the Hells Angels, Evil Knievel, Tom Cruise, and Pirates. We'll survive the "stuntas" too. If nothing else they have a self-limiting gene pool.
