I'm paying about $3.85/gal for booze-free.
Out here in the Pacific Northwest...WHEN you can find teetotaler gas, it's premium. When I was in South Dakota, five years ago...it was regular gas that had no likker in it.
Coming back from my last cruise, there seemed to be a bit of a shortage of dried-out gas. So I bought regular with the drink added...and yes, I was getting some pinging. Not much; thank computer controls for that...but I especially got some knocking on 100-degree afternoons when starting the engine hot.
PREMIUM.
Right now, back home, I'm trying to work all the booze out of the system I can. Gonna run it as close to dry as I dare; and then fill it up with wholesome gas.
