First race of the season. I will be up late tonight.
Cheers
Belay that. I will be up early in the morning. I had forgotten it is a night race.

It was a bit disappointing that Moto2 and Moto3 only got quick 2 minute recaps but I was very happy with the results in Moto2. A veteran showed he still has what it takes.
MotoGP was a good race with just 1 commercial interruption. I wasn't sure who the commentators would be but Nick Harris and Dylan Gray did the honors. My favorite rider showed some newly found restraint while still putting on a good show. It was also nice to see 3 manufactures in a great position to compete all season log. And Suzuki will soon have a fully seamless gearbox,

All three classes were worth watching. The GP had a real "feeling it out for the rest of the season" feeling. Lorenzo was very impressive in his favourite position, in the front. MM, in his post race interview, was happy and philosophical about the result. Did a good job of protecting Lorenzo again. Oops, I withdraw that. Sarcasm doesn't befit me.
Cheers

Lol I don't think Lorenzo needed protecting or had anything to fear from Rossi or anyone else on this day. Lorenzos ride was flawless, even when he got passed he kept his cool, passed cleanly passed back and rode like the Champion he is. MM was surprisingly restrained and showed great racing sense. Maybe he has it altogether finally. I was dissapointed Danny lost the pack so quickly. And speaking of quickly, the Ducs certainly have some power don't they? I would also have liked to see young Maverick a bit more in the fray, but all in all a great start to the season.

Enjoyed the race as always but could not help but compare it to the first two rounds of SBK on the same network. IMO, SBK is a far more exciting series.

My comment wasn't really directed at Lorenzo, more at him who wasn't named.
And 'Birds, I agree. Super bikes at PI was a much more exciting spectacle. That's why I hope this was more "feeling out" and that the action will hot up soon.
Cheers
