Lorenzo crashed out in a FP, then again in Q1 and Q2. Starts 11th.

The leaders should have come in for new tires about 3 or 4 laps earlier. One rider took a big gamble, coming in early for full slicks. At one point nearly 30 seconds behind, he won the race by 20 seconds.

the guys who came in for the bike change later were hoping they had enough lead to prevent the winner from catching up

they figured on slicks the guy would be sliding around and unable to get enough grip to make up the 26 seconds he lost but he was able to keep his bike perfectly on the dry line and that was all it took

for the other guys well they were a day late and a dollar short

for the winner it was a very good call and his team was on the ball and ready to go
