Check out this save from Marquez in FP2:

Honda's continuing woes with lack of acceleration coming out of corners (wheelies or wheel spin instead) is really rearing its ugly head at Brno. And they have the gall to blame it on the spec electronics. Wake up!
While Marquez is able to put together one or 2 fast laps, the Yamahas, Iannone and Vinales have the race pace.
FP3:
1 LORENZO 1'54.791
2 IANNONE ITA 1'55.535
3 MARQUEZ 1'55.562
4 VIÑALES 1'55.604
5 ROSSI 1'55.708

That's why Marquez is an "alien".
I remember several years back when Rossi made a save from what looked like a sure high side. He was catapulted off the seat yet held on to the handlebars, did a fine handstand off the bars and back into the seat, a little steering wobble and back on line. The talents of Motogp riders leaves me in awe at times.

And it´s not the [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaskAbQMVq0]first time... two years ago he saved even [url=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BnOor-nx8fg]a worst one also in Brno.
Marquez can surely push that Honda to the limit...

In Moto2 Tom Luthi had a horrific high side in late in qualifying, getting tagged pretty hard by the bike. Hope he's ok and able to race tomorrow. Younger Marquez qualified 3rd behind Zarco and Lowes.
I think Lorenzo will be the man to beat tomorrow, especially if the forecast for a dry race holds up.

Looks like Marquez slammed a couple of No-Doz and chased 'em with a large Red Bull, setting a lap record and nabbing pole position. Darn near took out a couple of guys while he was at it.

Dang what a race. Whoda thunk it? Just wild. These partial wet races certainly shake things up lol. Lorenzo was psychotic lol
