Motorcycle.com reports that Triumph's attempt on the land speed record is stymied by bad weather.
They call their bike the Infor Rocket Streamliner and that's what it looks like. It sure doesn't look much like a bike!
Good luck to them, though.

We're having torrential storms moving through northern Utah right now. I'm sure the salt flats got hammered.

I tried to find a more credible source than Revzilla's blog page, but it appears that salt depletion at the Flats is causing some issues for land speed record challenges like this one.
