Thanksgiving Day rides
#1
Anyone contemplating a ride tomorrow (I am) please remember this is a big travel holiday and there will be extra traffic on the roads, many from out of town and unfamiliar with the area, speed zones, locations of streets, exits on the freeway etc. They may be looking for an address or street and suddenly jam on the brakes to turn. Give anyone that looks confused or has out of state plates or a rental car, a little extra room for safety. In other words y'all be careful out there.

We have a lot to be thankful for and want to keep it that way. Thumbs Up

Have a great (and safe) Thanksgiving everyone Hello

Anyone thinkin' about a ride today (Wednesday), do the same, folks are lost and sorry to say, many are probably a bit irritated with all the traffic and such. Already seen many examples of this the last three days, as a good number of families are making a week of it.

Then there's Black Friday coming up, too. Hard to sit home when you have a nice bike in the garage, though.

I may try to sneak out, but the weather doesn't look great, I'm doing a 5k in the morning with my wife and daughter, and I have my November ride completed (several times over). Ask me next weekend, after the month turns over.

Happy Thanksgiving to all.

I'm in my 3rd day riding my cb exploring the bayous and river roads in Louisiana. Theres nobody on the road down here. I'll make it into the big city around 1pm today for a huge thanksgiving day. The weather has been perfect -in the low 70s and sunny. Weather's going to continue like this through Sunday. Clap

Happy Thanksgiving!

would kill for weather like that Jedd. Low 50's and drizzling here today. Still I will get out for at least 30 miles. May wait until noon and see if the drizzle stops. Spent the first couple of hours with my son in the woods on our annual Thanksgiving bow hunt. Got a little damp, but worth every minute of it t spend time with the boy (man)

Yep, did a 50 or so mile ride on local back roads. Almost no traffic. Now it's time to feed my fat face. Excited
