Piece of cake. 66 miles. Sun had melted all the snow off the road and it was actually a balmy 37 on todays ride. 30 for 30 in December. 1 more day to go.

I saw some slush in the all-day shaded areas along Rt 8 (south side of the Ohio) today but overall the roads were in great shape.

yep will be on the road in about 1/2 hur. Rain comes in at 11am they are saying.

Did not have a goal this year so could not re-set, with out any plan ended up with a total of 10009 km for the calendar year.
Congratulations on your achievement like many here have been keeping upto date on your recent quest 31/31, have been wondering if you were going to be confronted by blizzard conditions.

Once a day I like it.

All the best for 2017, its 00:30 here the year is already 1/2 an hour old.

Day 323 and 31 for 31 in December. Last ride of the year. As I promised Empty Sea it would be on the CB. Told my wife I was going to try and at least get in 77 miles to take me to next 100 mile level

Had to get on the road early as chances of rain increased dramatically after 11 AM (BTW it's not 11:23 and still not raining lol). Weather bug said 37 when I took off. There were still some remmnants of yesterdays snow in the grass but it was a non issue on the roads

Stonelick Lake is about 30 miles from my house so I decided to ride over there and then take the long way home which should give me the miles I needed

on the way home I had dropped to 2 bars so a fill up was in order. I stopped in the town of Bethel where there is a Tier 1 gas station (BP). I had gone 144.9 miles and it took 2.6 gals to refill. My calculator in my phone said that worked out to 55.7 mpg

when I pulled into the drive my Trip A read 81.2 miles

By the numbers 323 days out of 366 ridden in 2016 for a total of 25,304 miles which is 78 miles per day average

17,530 of those miles were on the ST, and 7,774 miles on the CB.
I have not missed a day since July 1, and as stated earlier if not for 2 vacations with the family 1 in May and 1 in June I would not have missed a day since May 1st. I missed 2 days in April, and 5 days in March. January and February were the worst being winter and all and I missed 24 days during those 2 months (but still managed to ride 36 days during those 2 months).

It's been a fun year and a lot of riding.... and it starts all over again tomorrow Jan 1 2017. Retirement has it's advantages.

That's impressive, Ferret! What a heck of a lot of fun and great memories, not to mention a sense of accomplishment and determination.

Impressive, indeed. Thanks for sharing most, if not all, of your miles with us. Life circumstances keep most of us from riding as frequently as we would like and I, for one, take some solace in the knowledge that there is someone out there living and loving motorcycling to its fullest.
