Just saw this article linked on another forum, but have been hearing people complain about Bike Bandit for quite some time. I had stopped using them, hope nobody here is waiting for parts!

Jeez. It is one thing to go into bankruptcy, but seems criminal to continue to accept money for something you know you cannot deliver.
Crap, crap, crap.
Sounds almost like Indiegogo.

I mentioned this on the forum several months ago:

My SO’s daughter works for a wealthy capitalist who has purchased several well-known San Diego area motorcycle dealerships over the past few years and recently purchased the remnants of Bike Bandit out of bankruptcy. It’ll be interesting to see how and if they can resurrect this thing. I imagine the name will need to be changed. I’m keeping my distance.

A wealthy capitalist investing in motorcycles? That rarely works out well for the investor

Well, if anyone has a pending order, hopefully getting money back won't be too much of a hassle with the information about the site being abandoned. I purchased something from a fraudulent website recently (should have paid more attention, but was on my phone and didn't notice some details on the page which would have tipped me off). Took some time due to a mandatory waiting period for the seller to respond to a "where is my product" message, but I got my money back.
BikeBandit was my go-to for Triumph parts. Luckily I haven't had to order anything in quite a while.

These guys were the worst! I had parts on order with them for months. Got tired of waiting and cancelled. Ordered from Partzilla and had them in a few days. I think they ran out of working capital and couldn't actually order the parts they had orders for.

I think the fulfillment model for Revzilla is to have distributors drop-ship products to the customer. This way, they don’t tie up working capital in inventory. Seems that nearly everything I’ve bought from Revzilla has come from someone else’s warehouse.
