Let's see your CB1100 out on the road!

Beginning of this week, I tried to climb one of the passes of the Tour de France, not one of the highest, but among the steepest: the Grand Colombier. It's a nice narrow road, north of Le Bourget Lake. But the weather was not very favourable, contrasting with the heat wave that is very often present here this summer. A very strong north wind prevented any navigation of sailboats on the lake. It did not hurt too much for the motorcycle ride, but many clouds remained on the reliefs from 1200 m altitude. So we didn't complete the whole pass, we'll come back an other day!

Stopping before getting into the clouds, we had a great sight over The Rhone river and Le Bourget Lake:

the kind light and weather....well yes..destiny...
in such cases i say still: I just do a duty photo..as reminder that i was here or to show i was there or better how looks there...

and how is the typical photgrappher law: from 10am until 4pm he has off....(inter alia bcos of the position of the sun)
