It would be more wise to change the sprockets and chain after nearly 50.000km for the first time. They don't like these cold temperatures anymore and run even more harsh and harsher than they 'normally' do. The chain has lengthend and hardend out too much....after a time out on the roads the chain drive smoothens out a bit but now it's really time to change. I still have bought a new set but it's really really too cold.....will wait for the spring and see how much I'll ride the CB til then or more use the other bikes.

50,000 kms on a chain and sprockets is good going. Fair enough that they're worn out.
