My last couple of rides up through the local hills.

Below: Township of Alexandra in Victoria. A few friends on various bikes - BMW 800, Harley CVO Breakout, Yamaha 600 cruiser, Yamaha 650 twin. No need to observe the parking laws on a quiet Sunday afternoon!!

Below: The usual stop over at the St Andrews Hotel to talk bikes with the other customers. Some interesting bikes can often be found outside the pub ... this time there was the very rare Brough Superior SS100 and an Ever Onward both around the mid 1920's era. The scrambler BMW Boxer looked cool too, as did the 1973 Ford Falcon.

I'd take some pics of the beautiful countryside but we're usually concentrating on the corners too much to take hands off the bars and use a camera ... if you've seen one tree/river/mountain you've seen 'em all.

Hi Cormanus, mate I plan on being there Saturday or Sunday (or both) depending on the weather forecast. Be great to catch up with you, Ptero and any others in the CB family. Perhaps we can make a plan and circulate some details of where and when to meet up. This is probably the wrong section to have this discussion so I'll post something in a more appropriate place ... if it aint already been done.

an old Navy Cook runs a little restaurant in Elberta Alabama with a sense of humor and closes the door when he runs out of food , usually about 1pm. Wife and i did about 80 miles through the country today.
