Here's one more question for you...I really want to order this luggage rack as well. http://japan.webike.net/product/21870523.html I can't determine if both the saddlebag support rack & luggage rack will attach seamlessly. Any advice is helpful. Haven't seen another bike like yours with the bag & rack I like. Thanks in advance...

Your link doesn't work. Which luggage rack is it?

If it attaches through the same bolts that hold on the grab handle which is what also secures the saddlebag support, those bolts might not be long enough. That couples with the extra weight of the rack, saddlebag, and cargo might not work so well.

It looks like this rack may include new bolts which replace the bungee cord pegs that are on the grab rails. I have my bag mounted on one of those pegs, but you might be able to work around that.

Tastefully done. I have the same flyscreen on the way frome UK now. I read your other thread about picking between solo seats. I'm in the same boat 'undecided' between kh & Daytona café. How's yours on long rides? Over 100 mi ride yet? Any others here have this one or the Daytona?

Since I no longer have the Dart Flyscreen, I figures this is a good opportunity to update my thread to reflect my latest mods. First, I'll respond regarding my saddle.

I generally find it comfortable. I've unfortunately gained probably 30 lbs since I bought it and it isn't as supportive. Also, I know my extra weight is affecting my general comfort on the bike. I have good days and not so good days riding. How I sleep has a lot to do with that, as well. I really liked it when it was new and now it is simply ok. I have been considering getting a Corbin for extra support, bit sat on a CB1100 with a Corbin and didn't like how it was shaped. I'll stick with what I have for now and really try to get back in shape. That's a lot cheaper than buying new stuff. The seat does hold me in place better since the base pan is a lot stuffet. You don't slide into the tank like on the stock saddle.

With my windscreen, I switched to the larger Dart Marlin for more wind protection. I love it how it works and looks.

I have also made some ergonomic changes to help with the afformentioned comfort issues. I needed to stretch out a bit, so I installed adjustable footpegs and slipped the handlebar risers around.

I just installed the shown Endurance rack a couple of days ago. The installation hardware includes 4 hex head bolts which replace the original 4 pegs.

BTW, this is a solid, well-built rack that I would rate as "excellent".

Cormanus, those are Chic Design. Mr. T carries them. They also come in clear.
