I think it's a perfect fit and exactly what I was looking for. Before the news about Victory Motorcycles, I was thinking about that Octane.

Me too. I gravitated to the octane from the CTX700n wanting a very comfortable cruiser style bike with a bit more performance, the 115 horses of the octane could have got me there. However I'm glad I dug in a little deeper and realized the ultra low CG and low foot pegs make it not so nimble in the twisties and make the bike scrape pegs too early. So I'm leaving cruiserland and sacrificing a bit of comfort for a much better all around preforming motorcycle.

Also the claimed 0-60 and 1/4 mile of the octane is a touch behind the cb1100 anyhow. I thought with its HP advantage it would zip past the cb. Also I was mistaken it is 104 hp, not 115.

I'm not typically a fan of how bags look on our CBs but those look great. Maybe it's because the bike is black too....very nice looking setup.
