Enzo, Portsmouth is about 100 miles from my house. We ride down there 2 to 3 times a year for one of those steaks. We call them Ribber runs! Lol

" bout time for a Ribber Run isn't it? Lol

It helps that its a 100 curvy miles that runs through much of Shawnee State Forest in s/e Ohio.

Its been nice weather on the east coast so far this fall, great that you could make the most of it.
Also good to see you touring on your CB1100, I just tend to do shorter 90 minute rides on smaller/tighter back roads in my area.....but nice to know I could do more...

The CB would not be my first choice for a dedicated touring bike, but it does a yeomans job. Plenty of power, good ergos, mediocre seat, and it could really be more 1100 sized vs 750 sized for a little more room if it were being used for touring only.

Ferret...that looked like a great trip. Thanks for sharing! What kind of windscreen is that? How do you like it? And is it easy to install... and then to remove?

As always, great job, ferret. I am back in NYC...left the cb in Bucharest. Rode the Goldwing up in the Catskills this weekend.

Thanks. The shield is a National Cycle Street Shield EX. It is easy to mount and dismount and leaves little behind when you want to ride with the bike naked which I prefer. It provides great coverage from bicep to bicep and waist to mouth for me at 5'7". There is some buffeting and wind noise, but nothing I couldn't live with considering the protection for fall and winter.

Welcome back Bronx boy. Have sure enjoyed your reports. When do you head back over? BTW my wife and I toured the Catskills on our way home from New England one year. Beautiful country to ride in. As a matter of fact I was surprised how beautiful New York ( the state not the city) was.
