Is it black? No ABS.

If you had abs you'd have a sensor ring on front wheel and an abs light in speedo that goes out when your reach 6 mph.

And this was all covered in another thread just this week or last week.

The sensor ring in the back sends speed data to the speedometer and then on to the ECU. On Non ABS bikes, that's what it is for.

You may have air in the rear brake line. A small number of us did on our 2013s. I haven't heard any reports of a '14 having that problem, but it could happen. Bleed it and find out. It's easy. There was a lot of air in my 13 rear brake.

Help?

What happened here? How did we get from a 1 line ride report to a conversation about ABS?

^^^^^^. I'm glad you posted that. I was beginning to think that my dissolute lifestyle had finally caught up with me.

Cheers

Looks like a lot of 'modifying' was going on...

Well at 1:27 pm it was more than a one line ride report. At 8:15 pm OP editied his post taking out certain information that would have made post # 2 and subsequent posts make sense

Happened another time yesterday too, then I get a PM from the following poster that says " what happened to the post ahead of mine, now mine doesn't make any sense. Can you go ahead and delete mine?"

Kind of throws things all askew

Oh, okay! Thought I was missing the party... again. I'm always missing the party. Very sad.
QG, most of us were confused about ABS and whether it is or isn't present on our bikes. A few of us purchased bikes with assurances that they were ABS equipped only to find out otherwise. Very disappointing, though not so disappointing as always missing the party. Beer
