Riders from Ohio
#1
I was gassing up the Subaru this morning and in rolled two Harley riders from Ohio.
Very nice and friendly guys and I had a nice chat with them.
I told them I rode a Honda CB1100 and they said they would forgive me and we all had a good laugh.
Nice guys Thumbs Up

Forgive you?!? Haha...They only said that because you weren't on the CB. Did they know what it was? I've had several HD riders that complimented the looks when they saw it stopped beside their rides.

Yeah, talk is cheap when the bike is nowhere in sight. If they saw it, you would have to tear their eyes off engine and wipe up the drool left on the tank. Smile

Big GrinBig Grin I'm pretty sure the only thing they recognized was the word Honda.
I wish I had been on it, but I had been shopping and needed four wheels.

I had a similar meeting a while ago when gassing up my CB 1100 and a guy came over from his truck , looked at my bike and said nice bike and mentioned that he rode a Harley.
I told him : do not apologize , we all make mistakes !
( he was smaller than me )

Came out of a country diner last year and two heavy set HD riders where trying not to drool over the front half of the CB. I am not kidding.

I reckon they were probably reliving some sort of past connection with a previous Honda or similar UJM. Once I and my passenger got closer, they scampered off on their HDs.
