2014 CB1100 in the wind again
#1

A couple buddies and I rode up I-17 to Sunset Point today. I appreciate the Slipstreamer most of the time in these winter months but above 70mph she buffets too much.

Took her to coffee in Cave Creek Sunday morning too, excellent town bike as I knew it would be.

I'm really liking the 6 speed tranny more than I expected. May have to sell the 2013 and keep the Black Beauty. Just not a fan of all that black.

Stand by while I noodle out posting the picture. Confused

Don't force yourself to buy totally black if you do not like it.
I had the same problem with totally black 2016.
I my case, I bought '14/6-speed and sold '13/5-speed.
Cannot ride what I don't love.
Good luck with your decision Smile

The 6 speed trans is nice Rboe. I'm sure you'll figure out which one you want to keep. I trust you got the title issues worked out.

AZ refused to title it. Found out Montana would but she is a ways away. Did a bit more scratching and discovered California would. If you are familiar with your geography lessons in school, California is a LOT closer to Arizona than Montana. Big Grin

Technically I don't have a title yet (promised to be in the mail in 2-4 weeks), but they gave me plates and tags. Next year I'll go through the hoops to transfer the title to AZ. Once you have the paper it's much easier to an AZ title.

I have plenty of time to decide, being this is not prime bike selling season (The Griso is on the block too, but not even a nibble!! If it sells then the pressure to sell a CB is reduced; but you know, it would be cool to turn a CB into a Africa Twin - or something else. ).

The black bike looks fantastic when it's clean. Otherwise, I hear ya Rboe.

Really good photo there Rboe. Really.

That is something someone in 2100 is gonna showcase, "That's ma great grandpa and that is what they rode back in 2018."

Moto Guzzi has a V7 in a satin pumkin orange that is just gorgeous. They've used it before on a California model. Boy does it grow on you. Not sure it would play well on the CB, but on those Guzzi's - mighty fine.

One of the Guzzi guys had a custom paint job on an old Guzzi. Well the paint job got messed up and it was orange but with a spider web texture through out. A mistake that looked uber cool. So cool that the painter had to figure out how to replicate it because several people wanted that same affect on their bikes!
