I noticed that too popgun. I took that photo months ago after coming in from a night ride. Even with just the ignition on, you'd think the fuel bars would show up. I will check that later.

Found the flash2pass not far from where I live and in stock. With the dollar difference, you guys should be all over this.

I'd get one, but my garage door doesn't have an electric opener. Just a guy opener Smile

The flash feature has been on higher-end bikes for many years; and many other Hondas.

My Suzuki Burgman 650 has it. Both my BMWs had it. My Yamaha Turkey-Whistle doesn't have it.

It's like a Mac computer - you just have to find the hidden features.

I have a 2014 and my gauges look like the photo. But I keep reading posts (I guess about 2013 models) that say the gauges are back lit green! I want green back lit gauges! Any idea how to get them?

You got me thinking. I have not had my bike out at night yet. I did not know what the gauges were going to look like. Here is a 2013 for comparison. Each has their +x and -s. It seems as we get older everything comes downs to a trade off. Nothing is perfect, we all must compromise at some point, but I am still partial to the 2013 (probably because it is what I have), except for 5th gear - argh, soon to change.

I covered the headlight in the second image to reduce backlight off door for more accurate night view. Yes, it is 6am (haven't adjusted for dst). What else is there to do at that time besides the forum - lol. My tank is always FULL.

FYI, the old way of red lights at night is 100% wrong. The research is not the color that affects night vision, it is the intensity. More commonly, aircraft back lighting is a blue white color. Actual white light is the best if the intensity (brightness) is lowered.

my deluxe has red/white needles. I suspect the std has the orange needles. If those are both US gauge faces they are both 14's according to the 120 mph speedos.

Yes there is. Modmygauges.com

Shane, the owner, is a Boeing cockpit electrician by day, and does this at home. A wonderful young man who is a perfectionist. He changed the backlighting on my ST1300 about a month ago. His turnaround is a few days, and the difference is amazing!! I had an invisible-to-me orange LED cluster. Now it is green and blue. I got to pick the colors. I think it was $60.

Ignore the "Am I at a Rave?" Website. He caters to the 'Busa crowd, and that's what they want. BananaBanana

I'm taking him my 2013 CB1100 cluster in a week or so. I'm going to change the backlighting, but I also want to get rid of the high school calculator look between the gauges.
