You're riding in my old neck of the woods where I was raised Ferret. Hillsboro, Wilmington, New Vienna. I'll be back there later this week to see Grandma, but won't have any bike. Some great roads to ride around there. Now I want Cobbler !!

Yep some great roads, 41, 134, 247, 138,

New Vienna home to the "Buzzard Festival"

I had gluten free Peach Cobbler twice last week that my daughter in law made me. Had been over a year since I had cobbler. It was awesome heated up with a scoop of Lactose free vanilla ice cream. Eating that, I almost felt like a human again.

we have one here that looks just like that but no blackberry cobbler Sad

your bike looks great without a huge trunk on the back.
I will be using the same soft trunk i have used on all bikes for almost 50 years and it is still serviceable. / my issued Duffel bag that once held everything i was allowed to own....

They really have some good food if you are allowed to eat and have a love for food. My brother gets their beef and cabbage soup, or their chicken and dumplings, or their beef and noodles, and their selection of pies and cakes is outstanding. THey had a blackberry Jam cake their that looked delicious and I would have had a piece had I been allowed to eat gluten.

It was very warm this evening so I decided to take the CB for a quick lap over 11,020' Juniper Pass and down into Idaho Springs, CO, where I've patronized my favorite local pizza joint, Beau Jo's, since 1977.

I ordered a 12" ham and pineapple Mountain Pie and proceeded to devour it. Nothing says summer like a helmet and gloves on the table.

On the way home my little gal turned Sweet 16. Decided to stop and commemorate the occasion with a photo. I can only take credit for half of those miles -- the original owner laid down the first 8000.

Up and over a mountain pass to grab an awesome pizza? That's pretty hard to beat, LR! What a cool food ride on your CB.

Yes Long Ranger knows the best roads and restaurants in Colorado!
While I was riding yesterday someone opened a restaurant in my name!

They also caught me some trout!
