K&H Low Seat Mounted on bike

ChipBeck asked if I could post some pics of the K&H Low seat mounted on the bike to get a better idea of what it looks like so here we go. The rain stopped long enough for me to get some outdoor shots and of course I have to start with the glamour shot showing off the scenery:

That is an outstanding and comprehensive set of photos. Thank you. I always thought the stock seat looked great although it's uncomfortable but sitting next to your new K&H the stocker looks pretty cheesey. That looks awsome Floyd, I appreciate you taking the time to do those comparison shots. AND....your Staintune looks better now that you have the bracket on the back side of the rear peg brace. Thanks for those pictures. Can you tell me how much lower the K+H seat is and what is your height? I think it looks great by the way. Oh, and how much was it if you dont mind me asking. How about comfort compared to the stock seat also? Hawaii must be a great place to ride.

Well it must be comfortable because I haven't even thought about it while riding!

I know it looks really scooped out in comparison to the stock seat but in reality it doesn't feel like it.

I have a low seat coming in about 2 weeks. how does it feel?

OLDF7GUY the seats run anywhere from $630 to high $700s from Takashi depending on what customizations you require

I think the K&H seat foam is denser so even though it is a lower profile seat it still feels like the stock seat as far as foam thickness.

The stock seat foam probably compresses more which would explain why I seem to think the K&H low seat and the stock seat aren't that much different as far as my reach to the ground.

I'm just over the ideal weight range that K&H specs for their stock seat foam (yes, you can ask them for a denser foam for larger American body weights). Right now I'm at 184 pounds and the upper range for the stock K&H seat foam is supposed to be 175 pounds.
