Pun intended. They are riding the retro wave to success. I’d love to talk with their marketing folks to see if they anticipated the retro craze or if they just happen to benefit from it by coincidence. Regardless of the answer their current bike lineup is impressive. I have a buddy who has a scrambler and a bobber in the garage. Beautifully styled and flawlessly painted machines. I’m glad the Triumph dealer is a long drive through traffic from my house because I’m really drawn to the Speedmaster. As Harry Callahan said “A man’s got to know his limitations”....and I do

I highly recommend the triumph patrol jacket. I got mine years ago on Revzilla on close out. Not sure if they still have them .. I have also seen them on eBay. Very minimalist style and very high end / thick somewhat rigid leather . That sucker is still breaking in after 3 winters . very heavy leather jacket ideal for Fall through winter . Excellent armor built in ( elbow / forearm and shoulders )

Got an email from a really good riding buddy a few days ago, asking me if I was still considering installing a nearly-new set of Givi E21 bags that I've owned for years on the new-to-me T120. "Yep, sure am."
Gave no more thought to the email until I came home this morning after a run to Dunkin Donuts. On the porch was a box, obviously a UPS shipment.
Hummmm. From Rhode Island. 'Did I order this?'
Opened the box, from Twisted Throttle. No info regarding who ordered. Called my buddy. He says 'nah, I didn't send it.' Then he owned up to it.
Offered to send him a check, he says 'put 'em on the bike. if you ever sell it, take them off and get them back to me.'
Sometimes, friends and riding buddies renew your faith in mankind.
