There are 3 CB1100 videos here, including one on the dyno, http://www.youtube.com/user/Pipemasterspower1981/videos

Trust me, I know these well. Wink

Ferret - The header pipes are polished stainless, so they do discolor. Mine have turned a consistent golden color that runs from the headers (darker) to right around where the pipes mount by the passenger pegs (lighter). For anyone considering the pipes, be aware that the chrome look will not last.

Grover - The diameter is very close to that of the original headers. If there is a difference, I'd say the Pipemasters are slightly larger (quick eye test). They do take an O2 sensor, but I'm not using it with the PC. The stock O2 sensor should fit. As for video, I'll see what I can do. NP on the questions. I watched the Youtube videos and took a leap of faith. Cormanus' countrymen didn't let me down.

I'll try to get some pics posted soon.

G'day Creasy, I'm planning on buying a set of these in a couple of months and would just like to ask you if you think if the volume would be too loud for long rides? I adore the sound they make and have been wanting to buy a set since before I bought the bike but I do a fair amount of touring and I'm concerned the drone would annoy me.

MrTim - I use earplugs when I ride. With that said, I hear the pipes, but nothing annoying. I've got a three-day ride planned, and I'll be taking the CB with no worries about noise levels.

Ah thanks a bunch, that's what I was hoping to hear! You've put my mind at rest so I'll definitely buy myself a set once I've moved into my new place.
One more thing, myself and I believe a couple of other members on here would really appreciate it if you could post a photo of the discolouration you were speaking of. Personally I often like the way SS pipes colour but it would be good to see what it looks like before putting up so much cash.
Sorry to be so demanding!

This is Allan's bike from the side. The color change is evident; much like the stock unit.
