Gin60 - by being "stupid little bits" implies they have a level of intelligence, and quite possibly on a level that we homo-sapiens cannot comprehend. Might be easier to simply embrace. It might just safe some paint scratches on the cage door.

Yes, I immediately realized my insolence and apologized to the RLETS on both bikes, and rubbed some rubber protector into them with a fine chamois.
