Handguards

New to the forum. I did a search and haven't found a good answer. Anyone using handguards on their CB1100's? I ride year-round and could really use them on the CB (my favorite of three bikes but the only one without guards). The Acerbis Dual Road handguards look good and they say they have a universal mount but then you have to enter your bike model to order. They don't have an option for anything newer than 2012 (my CB's the 2013). Anyone try these? Other suggestions? Thanks for any help.

No difference from 2010 to 2013. All changes came in 2014

The one Acerbis model I was fond of replaces the counter weights on the handle bar so I've held off. I like the handlebar weights.

Thanks for the replies. Ferret, I don't see the CB1100 listed even when entering 2010 (wasn't it only sold outside the U.S. until 2013?). Rboe, what model were you find of? Finally, popgun, I see Samurider mentioned a lot in this forum. How is their quality and do you have experience ordering from them here in the U.S.? Thanks again for the help.

Yes it was only sold in Japan, Australia and New Zealand I believe, but other than a lower seat, I don't think there is any major difference between the 2010 non imported to the US and the 2013 when it was brought into the US. Updating came to the CB in 2014 in the form of the DLX and EX in Europe as well as changes to instruments and transmission on the std.

Many members on this board buy from Samurider and all report excellent products and first class service.
