I haven't liked mine much. Increased noise, weird low pressure in the dead air of my chest, and I feel like I'm getting punched in the throat with the wind. I'm not giving up on it yet though. I'm going to spend a weekend playing with the adjustment to try to find a better setup.

I have the NC Street Shield EX and am not 100% happy with it either. Always sounds like a flag flapping in the wind and the faster you go the louder the flapping. I only use it for winter so I accept the flapping in exchange for the wind protection. I think these bikes just want to be nekid. I would like to test ride a CB with the little fly screen. Most everyone says they do a decent job, it's just so small I don't see how it could do much of anything.

I have the NC too, but picked up a MRA with Laminar Lip on the top edge for the Griso. Liked it so much I bought a spare mount for the CB and swapped it out. I think the killer accessory is the Laminar Lip which goes a long ways to reduce turbulence coming over the head. It does take a bit of tweaking to find the angle that works for you.

And it's not cheap.

I have the NC a Deflector screen on my 14 DLX. It's the same screen I also had on my 13 and it works fine. It's the base model ( I'm cheap...) so it doesn't adjust easily but it fits fine. At times I wish it was taller... but I'm satisfied as it does cut down the wind blast and because it is small, it doesn't overpower the design of the bike either.

You may want to consider the Laminar Lip to add to the top of your Deflector. Smooths out the airflow and raises the bubble a bit. There is another product out there that does the same thing but the brand name escapes me at the moment.

Rboe...thanks for the tip...sounds interesting. Who sells it?
I just looked at their web site...what style and/or size do you recommend?

I bought mine second had from a Griso owner (oddly enough, the original owner of the Russell Day Long seat I bought for the Griso) so I'm not sure which model.

Laminar lip makes a universal model (several widths): http://www.laminarlip.com/cruisers.php
(cool beans, they make ears to help cover the hands too! Didn't know that!)

Mine "appears" to match the CU model; http://www.twistedthrottle.com/mra-custo...torcycles#
It's a bit bigger than the NC screen offering more protection. I really wish I had had it on the Moto Guzzi Rally trip as the little Give A770, while it looks very cool on the Griso, does not give the shoulders a break from the wind. At least I have hand protection on the Griso, the CB is still open to the wind so I'm looking for solutions there with the cold weather approaching.

Cold for AZ anyway. Smile

Well, you could start out with wearing some gloves. Big Grin

I had one on my Nighthawk 750. It was awful. Helmet buffeting and noise. I took it right off again.
