Two-tone Engine
#1

Just got my 2014 CB1100A with the blacked-out motor. Anyone else with one of these considered two-toning the motor? It could probably be done by sanding off just the front faces of the cooling fins or rolling some high heat silver paint on them. Any thoughts?

Out,

I would two tone the motor by replacing all 4 engine side covers and the cam covers with the bare aluminum peices from the '14 deluxe. Silver paint would be a disaster. Machining the edge of the fins has been done and it looked great but you better really know what you're doing or your new CB will be trashed. Cheers.
