The designation for mine is 1100S, but I rarely see that refered to.

Got Pictures ?

It has some of the features of a DLX, but not others. It has ABS, bigger tank, but a 4 to 1 exhaust. So I am unsure it will fit or not. I don't have any pictures with me at the moment since I am travelling for work, but I will post some when I get back.

The Canadian CB1100A has the same frame and more steeply angled grab rails as found on the 2013/2014 Standard. It's like the red tanked bike on the banner picture at the top of this forum where you can clearly see the greater angle on the grab rails compared to the white tanked 2014 DLX.

2013 Honda Rack P/N: 08L70-MGC-A20 (Also Fits Canadian 2014 CB1100A and 2014 U.S. Standard)
2014 Honda Rack P/N: 08L70-MGC-N40

I mounted the 2013 Honda Rack on mine...fits fine and follows the lines of the bike. The 2014 DLX Honda Rack might have fit, but would be tilted upward at the back (Note: Apparently some have mounted the 2014 rack on earlier bikes, but I don't think the extreme angle looks good or functions as well as a rack that is more level).

Sholouie ..yes, pictures would be helpful. I am not aware of a model CB1100 with the 4.6 gal tank, ABS and 4 into 1 from Honda. If it indeed exists, we will have to add it to the history section of the forum.

The Canadian CB1100A does not have the larger tank...that was a typo in early Canadian ad copy. I know - I have one that I am constantly filling with gas Wink

The Canadian 2014 CB1100A is essentially the same as the Spenser Blue 2014 Japanese Standard with the addition of ABS and English labeling.

Thanks for the info guys, I am still learning stuff about my bike, haha. So I think I will order one that will fit the standard and cross my fingers. I feel like gambling. Pics will come.

Would anyone happen to know if the 08L70-MGC-J20 (from site http://japan.webike.net/) rack would fit the 2014 CB1100 Standard (or 2014 CB1100A)? Maybe in other words, is the 08L70-MGC-J20 the same as 08L70-MGC-A20?

The photos of both the 08L70-MGC-J20 and 08L70-MGC-A20 certainly look identical.
The J and A in the model number may be a country code and possibly relates to the language of the instructions? For example J=Japan and A=America? I've also seen D used on parts designated for Germany (Deutchland).

Yes, I like your rationalization. May I ask where did you sourced your Honda carrier 08L70-MGC-?

I ordered it from Here: https://hondaeastsuperstore.com/
They are in Toledo, Ohio.
I think the 08L70-MGC-A20 rack was $249 U.S.
I specifically requested that they ship U.S.P.S. so that I would not get any brokerage or duty charges from the U.P.S. "brown shirts".
The only extra I had to pay was $30 for U.S.P.S. Shipping plus Ontario Sales Tax.
