Black Endurance Rear Rack Does it fit 2013 Standard?

Can't determine if this rack fits a 2013 Standard. Want to order it ASAP. Anybody with a 13 that has it mounted? Fit Ok?

I would think so. It looks fairly level on that EX in the picture. Although they say it fits the '14 Std. model (technically it would), I would expect it to be angled upward towards the back, due to the steeper grab bar angle.

we had somebody here that posted a pic of this rack mounted on a CB but I couldn't find it. was trying to confirm if that bike was a 13 or 14.

From reading some Endurance threads its said the rails are the same on the '13 and '14 standard. I couldn't find one mounted on a '13, but I didn't read through all the search results.

thanks PopGun. still doesn't answer everything but gives me an idea. going out to look at the angle of the hand rail on the bike to get an idea of the possible angle of the rack.

I just purchased the Honda top box kit from Samurider. The kit includes the much improved '14 rear rack that I thought only fit the DLX/EX models. But the instructions (for the rack only) are in English and it comes with seperate instructions and parts needed for mounting either on the '14 DLX/EX or all other models/years. So a rack designed for a '14 Standard will fit both '13 models.

On another note, I'm a new Samurider fan and the rack and top box are both typical Honda quality pieces. I got the red color to match my DLX, it's just listed as Candy Red and I believe it's a shade in between the '13 and '14 reds so that it looks awesome with both. The paint job itself is flawless. I placed the order on a Monday night and he shipped two boxes on Thursday. The boxes got seperated going through customs at JFK Airport, but I received one on Saturday and the other on Monday!!! Both boxes where undamaged!!

That's right. The burning question would be whether or not the Endurance rack comes with the extra hardware to deal with the two different mounting bolt angles.

I have the Black Endurance rack (for my DLX) and it came with 2 sets of spacers. If I recall right, it will fit either bike. Angle wise, I am not sure how it will look. If you PM me on Monday I will find the paperwork.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. The hardware that comes with the Honda rack is mainly just bolts and spacers. The only special parts are beefed up lowering brackets for the DLX/EX models. They replace the existing brackets that lower the rear of the grab bars on those models. Using the Honda rack on a standard model only requires 4 extra spacers that go behind the grab bars to bring them out some. If an aftermarket rack is designed to fit a '14 Standard it will also fit the '13 models. The only difference between the '14 Standard grab bars and those on the '13 is the color. The DLX grab bars are a little different on the back side to accommodate the lowering brackets. Lowering bracket is my term... Honda calls it a garnish in the instructions!!
