Mirror options for CB1100

Tanex lute mirrors. Got them from webike.

My review of the tanex lute mirrors are that they are O.K. First off they do look great but there are some small issues. They adjust fairly well but you have to turn your controlls foward because if your tall you will only see bumpers and thats about it. My main concern is that its hard to tighten them down. Ive tightend them about as much as i can and they dont move but the stems can still be turned with my hand. Vibration is ok, its not perfect. they are worth the 60 plus bucks i paid but i think i will still keep an eye out for something a little higher quality.

My bikemaster mirrors had the same issues. One of my controls did not need to be adjusted as it was already there and I didnt notice until I put the mirrors on.. It was actually a good thing that I had to rotate one of them as the clutch lever was actually in need of a little downward rotation. As you do , I feel like the hardware doesnt quite cinch down like it should, but I have 100 miles on or so post new mirrors and they havent moved so I am not really worrying about it.

Not sure what type of mirrors you are into. But I'm a fan of bar end mirrors. I got mine from dime city cycles, and I love it.

CB500F mirrors went onto my bike today. They are lower and wider than the stock mirrors.

I don't notice any vibrations.. Work perfectly for me. Since this was posted, I did add the right side mirror as well. Turning the head at highway speeds, didn't feel to safe

Just ordered the CB500 mirrors myself. Got a great price from Honda Parts Nation online - $34.68/ea.!
I like the look, and the fact that being Honda factory parts, they'll be quality pieces and fit right, too.
Thanks kennyw for his recent post that pushed me over the edge about buying them.

I am not sure what is the screw size on our bike, are any adjusters needed?

I am hoping that someone has first hand experience with these replacement mirrors I saw on ebay. As you can see, they are not very expensive compared to OEM Honda CB500 mirrors (wh/ makes me somewhat skeptical).

Aside from "You get what you pay for" comments, I would appreciate your opinions, please.
