I recently read somewhere in December that decal designing business was making a comeback, but do-it-yourself. This must be an example what they were implying. Kind of like 3D printing, but 2D for t-shirts using your home computer. Stuff like this is making prototyping very convenient, possibly even disruptive to equivalent traditional industries in low volume quantities.

I've been looking for a 'good' four-pot/CB1100 t-shirt and have considered doing it myself. A few sheets of t-shirt printing paper, knock up some designs/wording, print the design off, iron on the designs. Seems simple enough. Much fun I'd imagine.

The start of a forum competition maybe.....?

Unbelievable - it really exists! Huh. Somethin' is missing though. The RLET icon? Cool

Thanks Ferret.

Lol. Forgot that my/InHouseBob’s logo design was made into a shirt for Ferret. However, to answer GO’s question about an icon, a graphic representation of the RLET itself was deliberately omitted from this design for a few reasons: 1. I think the term RLET should remain cryptic to outsiders. An icon could remove the mystery 2. “RLET Racing” and the checkered flag background were chosen for the irony of the team name and because the somewhat nostalgic style of the logo references the nostalgic style of the bike and 3. Certain renderings of the RLET appeared a bit more, shall we say, phallic than a propriety would permit. (Mostly reason #1, though)

lol - All the reasons make sense.

Should #3 later lighten up, I am sure some abstracted "super hero" RLET form exhibiting cunning power could be imagined. Kinda like the very old days of animated spark plugs, cans of oil and tires.
