I joined the PR3 club today and love them! Thanks for the advice. Can't wait to take them up to the mountains!

Has anyone decided to put some tyre sealant into their tyres (tires)? I don't fancy the liquid types / solutions, but some of them, such as the one in the link, 'set', and so shouldn't cause any balance problems... right?

I had someone over inflate my front and now it's got a super slow puncture near the rim. I realise this won't fix a sidewall issue, but might be useful anyhow.

Be careful!
The bike will drop quicker in the corners because of their profile.
Great tires though!

Not in mine either, but it can catch you by surprize in the first hard corner. Especially if the old tires were square from riding them to them down to the wear bars.

Before retiring I rode 50 miles each day to and from work, day in day out. Biker
The only turns were getting onto and off from the freeway; resulting in many a square tire. Sad

What I hate about square tires is their resistance in turn in, and proclivity to stand up straight if you let up on the pressure on the bars.

My day rides are on twisty back roads. But it takes an hour or more on straight roads to reach them and come home. The highway pavement flattens the center of the tires spoiling the round profile.

As I don't do my own tire changes, having a new set installed is one of my more expensive dealer services. So being rather tight, I run them down to the wear bars.

I use to spend about $20 a week on lottery tickets. After doing this for decades I realized I never won anything more than $20. Slow learner. As my friend says, "The government run lotteries are just more taxes for the naïve."

So now I put $20 away each week so my major maintenance jobs can be done by the dealer. I have got the age where owning a motorcycle is strictly for fun and adventure. I no longer enjoy spending frustrating days in a cold garage scrapping my knuckles. I would be rather be riding than wrenching.

I hate square tires too and replace mine as soon as the profile is gone, even when there's plenty of tread left. I've never kept tires until they were down to the wear bars.

I've also never bought a lottery ticket and have never met anyone who won anything significant.
