2018 EX minor exhaust mod

Hi all. I have a 2018 EX. Very pleased with it overall. Trying to resist the urge to tinker too much. I live in the UK so I'm not too sure how many decent exhausts there are out there that would suit the CB. I have seen many pictures of these Moriwaki's and other 4-4 systems that look great but cost a fortune, even if I could get one. So I decided to have a good look at the standard exhaust and see what I could maybe do to it. There was a baffle in there with three smallish holes that looked like it would come out easily. So i used a 1" hole cutter that fitted perfectly down the pipe and drilled out the baffle. It came out extremely easily and then i used a magnet on a stick to re-trieve the swarf and remnants. Again easily. Used a file to smooth off the bore and it was a very rewarding and tidy job, if i do say so myself! Does it sound different. Well yes. Hard to describe in words but the exhaust gases sound 'cleaner' coming out. ( no i dont mean emissions ). Slightly less rasp and maybe even 'hiss' if that makes sense. Sounds bleedin lovely TBH. removing the baffle can only be a good thing so I reckon I will happily live with it as standard now. Saved a fortune aswell. Hi jfro, provided you have a youtube channel, whilst the video is playing on your pc in youtube double click on the address bar which will then highlight ( different background color )

then copy and paste into a NEW line ( start point at the left margin ) in the post in this forum and check if it presented in red when you are in the preview mode.

Ah, ok. I dont have any youtube and think this is probably beyond my abilities. I have just been outside to try and video it but TBH the video doesnt pick up the difference that I can hear. Shame. I dont want to oversell this mod but i am pleased with it and just wanted to share with others who may be interested....

Well youtube is not hard to operate, when you apply for a "channel" just tell them " username; red giraffe, password notinterested2019days and a ( throwaway ) email adress, once accepted it asks you if you want to upload a video, click on "add video" and it presents you with a familiar windows like file structure of your pc, navigate to the videofile on the hard drive or memory card and it will start to upload presenting a progress bar.
Would it help if i made a step by step howto with screenshots?

I would also bookmark that homepage so it is easy to find again.

Probably worth trying at least, many video tutorials available or just ask here, best of luck!
