I am looking for some ideas for some new mirrors. I want black and possibly a little lower profile.

A couple of questions that you guys with more experience may have.

1. Somewhat interested in bar end but not sure if that will work well (i.e. will they be functional) with standard height handlebars?

2. Round, rectangle? anyone have pics

3. I like a little more of a café look and would like to tone down all the chrome a little.

4. I have seen some pics from another member using these Partzilla 88220-MGZ-305 from a cb500?? I like them, might be a good option.

Any other ideas or options?

Thanks in advance for the feedback!
Thanks to HWdesign member for the picks of the CB500 mirrors!

I have the CB500 mirrors on my bike and love them. I don't really like the "chrome lollypop" look. Good vision, not looking at my shoulders. On my Bonneville, I have Napoleon brand bar end mirrors. They look great, and are available in black or chrome. They are great quality, have an OEM look to them, and give a good field of view, but are a bit blurry at high rpm - not blurry enough that I find them annoying. Tried a bunch of mirrors on that bike, and have stuck with the Napoleons for a few years now.

If it makes us feel more special for using the CB500 mirrors, apparently Dan Gurney liked them as well...

I use Napoleon chrome bar ends. Exactly as gone in 60 said. Great quality. Perfect in town. Buzzy at speed but not unbearably so.

Thanks for all the replies!

Townie what tail bag do you have? Also that blue is really nice! I have the same fairing but without the stripes.

LOL, you're quite the Hawkeye Thumbs Up

I'm guessing this photo was taken after a bit of chain cleaning & lube. I indeed use a chain guard.

Tailbag is a Cortech Super 2.0, 14L size. Fits pretty good on the seat, and I used a few simple elastics to hook to the CB's lash points. On & off in about 5 seconds Smile

The Pearl Spencer Blue was only for the Canada market, I think.
