Slipstreamer Original large windshield

I just ordered this supersize windshield (S-03 Original) as the CB1100 wasn't getting any winter riding compared to my other Goldwings .. So I decided to make the CB1100 the baby wing of the family

Does anyone have any reviews before I open the box as the item is not returnable once opened per the vendor .. Since the CB1100 is in the photo ad, I think the fitment should be ok

There are a few members here with that windshield. I think you'll be ok. I mean, like you said, they show it on a CB1100.

I was shocked to see the CB as the poster child for some of these shields

Those who have them speak highly of them. I used to ride with them on my 850 Suzuki and 760 Nighthawk.

Got the Slipstreamer S-03 and the install went smoothly .. Clears the headlight and other parts nicely once you play with the adjutments ..

I got the clear so its not too offending as I'm used to the looks of the Vetter on my GL 1100 .. I would have to say the wind protection is going to be more than sufficient for the SF Bay Area cold weather rides .. Im 5'7 and 30 inseam so ill be looking through the shield which I am used to anyways ..

Will play around with the tilt / height as needed in the upcoming future rides .. My previous experience has been either large full coverage shields or naked for me personally .. none of the in between shields have worked for me on various bikes ..your preferences may be different ..

Looks good. How cold does it get on a Bay Area Cold Weather ride?

Personally I dont recall riding in temps lower than 40F in the winter as it gets warmer during the day to around 40's-50's minimum in different parts of the bay area. I do remember riding through some light snow in the Berkeley hills and Mt Hamilton few years ago but that was at elevation
