Regarding the fake taillights, I scoff at Givi’s attempt to make me feel inadequate by not purchasing their bespoke LED light kits.

I register my disdain by installing a Signal Dynamics LED strip to the back edge of the rack, so it functions when the box is detached and still gives an added measure of safety closer to a driver’s eye level. I’d recommend this for anyone, like Alprider, with rear mounted luggage. The strip is flexible and almost disappears into the rack when not lit.

That is looks pretty clean Gin60, and appears much better than the OEM taillight.
